MEET YOUR GUIDES

Ray Kinskie

I have been hunting in this area since 1980 and guided in this area for the Dixie outfitters when it was owned by Emmet and Zona Smith. Bought my first place in Dixie in 1993 and I love guiding just as much or more than I do hunting myself.

I am confident in my abilities and knowledge of the area to help you have a successful hunt. I have alot of love and respect the outdoors.

Eric Quenzer

Eric Has 20 years of experience hunting mountain lions and bears between Idaho and Nevada. Eric Has great a great pack of hounds with a go-getter attitude. Hunting mountain lions as well as bears in Nevada is one of the most fascinating and rewarding challenges you can experience. With all the elements and factors against you, the chase of these unpredictable animals is left to the unknown.

Ben Wollrad

When I was nine years old I went on my first hunt. My parents, brother and I backpacked into a high mountain lake and spent 4 days killing, cooking, and eating blue grouse. From the first time that I touched off that 20 gauge and watched a grouse drop from a tree I haven’t stopped loving hunting. It is possibly the best way to get back to my roots and decompress for a while. This is why I guide, I get to show people the thing I am most passionate about in the wildest and most jaw dropping landscapes this world has to offer. My parents, both involved in the fish and game, taught me so much about the ecosystem and habits of the big game species in the backcountry. This has given me an abundance of tools and knowledge for hunting in the most remote of places. With every hunt I go on I am excited to share something so close to me with those around.

Stan Denham

Stan Denham, known by locals as "Stan the Cougar Man," is a seasoned expert with an unmatched knowledge of Idaho’s rugged terrain. Born and raised in the heart of the state, Stan has spent his entire life exploring the wild expanses of the Salmon and Clearwater Rivers of Central Idaho, becoming intimately familiar with every creek, cliff, and forest path. With over 40 years of experience hunting and guiding in Idaho, Stan is widely respected for his deep understanding of the region’s wildlife, particularly the elusive mountain lion.

From a young age, Stan developed a passion for the outdoors, learning outdoor skills from his father and uncle, both avid hunters and outdoorsmen. His early years were spent alongside them, training dogs, tracking game, observing animal behavior, and learning the subtle signs of nature that many overlook. This hands-on training, combined with a natural instinct for reading the land, has shaped him into one of the most sought-after mountain lion guides in the state.

Stan’s success as a guide isn’t just due to his vast experience, but also his respect for the animals and ecosystems he works with. Known for his calm demeanor and sharp instincts, Stan is the go-to guide for those seeking to pursue mountain lions in the challenging Idaho backcountry.
